It's Holy Saturday if you're Christian. Easter weekend is a time for contemplation and prayer, but in a crisis like this, I am also praying with my feet.

In Trump's first term I was at a protest against family separation at the border, and we were listening to different faith leaders addressing the crowd. It was a Saturday, and the rabbi said, "Normally on a Saturday I'd be in synagogue leading prayers, but today I'm praying with my feet!"

I'm starting to see disparaging statements about the #HandsOff protests, suggestive of #COINTELPRO: that they were "permitted", that they had "little effect", that "hundreds of thousands" showed up (actually millions), that we should try to find "other, more effective" approaches — rather than attend #April19th.
