A new documentary, "The Encampments," takes viewers inside the protests across college campuses and public spaces. It features interviews with Mahmoud Khalil, now in a Louisiana detention center after being taken into custody by ICE, award-winning journalist Bisan Owda, and Grant Miner, who was expelled from Columbia University because of his participation in the occupation of a campus building. In its first limited-release weekend, it became the most-seen documentary in theaters. @TeenVogue spoke to co-director Kei Pritsker and student organizer Sueda Polat about why they made the film.
