Which modern, capitalist things support/nudge/afford a lifestyle that's much more connected to nature and our stone-age brains? In a positive manner, so I don't mean "endless scroll = intermittend dopamine hits" or such ilk.

I wonder about for examples:

1. hourly-flexible electricity metering = aligning daily life with the sun (and winds) #SolarPunk #Tibber

2. Steep discounts on supermarket products that are near their sell-before date = hunting & gathering plus avoiding #foodwaste
enabling & encouraging people to do more of their own hands-on work rather than outsourcing to a capitalist service economy. E.g. Cooking your own food is cheaper, healthier and better for the environment than Uber Eats - but it would require restructuring how we think about "work" since it's no wonder that people don't have the energy to cook after a long day in the office and a long commute (*cough cough* work from home and cook between meetings *cough cough*)
Cooking _during_ meetings ;-) At least, if those are simple status updates.

Within the topic of (communal) gardening (cc @Miri123 @robconnolly) or cooking, what techniques would you consider most _drastically modern_ while not veering into harmful like #industrialAg or #fastfood?

#Hydroponics, maybe? Solar pumping (https://lite.duckduckgo.com/lite/?q=site%3Agardena.com+%2213300-20%22), #SolarCooking also fits the bill for me, because our ancestors didn't have glass, mirrors & electronics.
I'd recommend #NoDig #gardening: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No-dig_gardening

Significantly lower effort than traditional methods, for basically the same (or slightly better) output.

Look up 'Charles Dowding' on youtube for a ton of info and tutorials.

yeah - the reason I love no dig is definitely not because I’m fundamentally lazy. Oh no.
