Last week here at @heiseonline we had two #microblogging services that brought as much #traffic as #X brought, before we stopped posting there: Still don't know why, but #Threads even beat #Mastodon. #Bluesky only third this time.

Das #Fediverse mit seinen #Microblogging Diensten wie #Mastdodon, #Friendica oder #Hubzilla sind nicht auf Reichweite wie man es vom blauen Vogel 🐦 oder Facebook her kannte ausgelegt. Hier geht es um echte #Kommunikation untereinander und dann kommen Likes und Reichweite von alleine. Doch es bedeutet Arbeit, da hilft kein #Algorithmus, sowas gib,gibt es hier nicht.

Good reminder that #Mastodon is a #MicroBlogging Service, and not the place where we expect politicians to listen to our good advice (they totally won't anyway).

I know we can't & shouldn't be silent towards all the terrible shit that is happening around us.

But maby we should balance that more with having #fun from time to time. Or just little #silly things we want to tell the world.
