The Auschwitz Memorial (aka Auschwitz Museum) continuously broadcasts toots reminding viewers of the horrific crimes committed by nazis in concentration camps roughly 80 years ago (as can be seen in https://mastodon.world/@auschwitzmuseum/with_replies - note: they won't tell you about people who were exterminated because they were gay).

Those toots rightfully make viewers feel very sorry for what happened to those victims of WWII. Often they believe that they're doing everyone a favor by boosting such toots.

However, the real intention of the stream of sad stories, usualy with pictures, is to distract viewers from the genocide that is taking place *TODAY*. Thereby shamelessly abusing victims of the Holocaust.

The world is now faced with extensive proof of "a real incident of genocidal murder", as pointed out by numerous well-known organizations (including the ICJ and ICC, Amnesty International, Human Right Watch, Medicins sans Frontiers etc).

And notably the Auschwitz Memorial keeps denying it (see their unconditional pro-Israel statement here: https://infosec.exchange/@ErikvanStraten/113696541911571675, or at the second half of https://www.auschwitz.org/en/museum/auschwitz-council/).

Instead, the Auschwitz Memorial wants us to believe that "never again" does not apply to Palestinians or other Arabs. This is an utter disgrace.
