An #introduction post is probably appropriate. So: Hello from #norway !

I'm here hoping to find interesting #DIY #electronics and other nerdy projects, in addition to sharing my own stuff.

I've been fiddling with #esp32 microcontroller/WiFi modules for a while, and will probably post my share of esp32 related projects.

My primary programming languages are #php #cpp #javascript

I do #pcb design with #Kicad, simple 2D design with #qcad and 3D work in #freecad.

I write about some of my projects on my personal blog, https://espenandersen.no

My GitHub repository is found at https://github.com/espena

John Donigian, the senior director of #SupplyChain strategy at Moody’s, said the #tariffs could lead to higher #costs, potential #delays & pressure for #businesses to shift production closer to North America or into the #UnitedStates.

All industries would face unique challenges, he said. For #electronics, moving #production could be #slow & #costly. For #retail & #consumer #goods that try to keep costs low, inventories could fall & consumer #prices rise.

[so less stuff that’s more expensive]

Embroidamotion incorporates embroidary by #UmRani from #palestine (In this example — a #peace dove) with motion sensitive back light (2 #LED noodles).
Additional images (and their descriptions) explain the #electronics part of it (in case you want to make something similar).

It's the off-season for #cycling , so I did some measurements for a hub #dynamo and published them on my #blog.

No one on the 'net seems to show how voltage changes depending on load, so I measured that.

Results:
- a dynamo is not a actually well modeled as a current source
- voltage spikes will fry your #electronics , but you can prevent it
