I have an MD and a specialization in Ob/Gyn. That does come in handy when writing.
I offer free advice for birth scenes, too. I've read way too many dramatic (unrealistic) birth scenes not to do so.
Is there a type of scene you could never write?
The joy of reading is to be able to use our imagination, to conjure up our own interpretation of what is happening. I don’t see the point of explicit sex writing. It cheats the reader in my opinion.

I've got boxes of abandoned projects. I struggle with completing things. I always find some way to divert myself and then projects evaporate. It's frustrating.

I write the stories I would love to read myself. So, the intended audience must be grumpy fifty-six year old men 🤣.
My hard #scifi could appeal to anyone, as the science element is the background to a human drama. I don't write wacky sci-fi 🤔.
I envisage my epic #fantasy suiting anyone who loves the LOTR, GOT or similar high fantasy.
None of my work is honed for a specific demographic.
