Halifax. But also anywhere.

Sitting alone at this counter in a great little café in Halifax, this man was engrossed in his work. Sometimes you don't see what is right in front of your eyes.

A blast from the past.

Original text from 2015: Last night after the big screen special showing of all of the "Life's Work : Conversations with Makers" videos,we found ourselves back in the same café with some good friends we don't see often enough. It was great to catch up with them over tea and snacks. We don't see them enough. It was a wonderful turnout at the screening and the Q&A afterwards was fascinating.

Meet Avocado, our friends' new Bengal kitten.

We went to meet little 'Cado and his big sister Rogue yesterday and immediately fell in love. I'm afraid to show Zaz his picture in case she wants him to move here with us! (And no, Pax, you can't have him, he lives in Nova Scotia! 😻)
