The branching thin channels of the Tasman, Godley and Cass rivers form a breathtaking tapestry of turquoise hues against the snow-covered landscape. Like a painting, the different shades of turquoise flow in long, gentle waves from the top to the bottom of the picture, where they merge into a narrow strip. Prominent snow-capped mountains (Aoraki/Mount Cook) appear in the distance, majestically framing the terrain.
