Optimizing #OpenRefine is fun! Today I took it for a ride on the #sirene database (all french companies). The CSV file weighs 7.8GB uncompressed. It took a while to import it, but… tada!

What are the best frameworks to make a #Java application extensible? Is #OSGi the norm? Looking for recommendations in the context of #OpenRefine. The problem of improving OpenRefine’s extensibility is becoming more pressing in my mind. There are some things in OpenRefine for which I have a fairly clear mental picture of how things should be and I just lack the time to actually implement those…OpenRefine
