My new favorite thing is mentioning Lilo & Stitch to people. And when they say "oooh I loved that movie as a kid!" I ask if they remember what it's about. And then watch them recall and go "daaaaamn Disney..." 😆😆
A good cartoon says something to kids and then has an extra layer for adults.

it's about siblings whose parents recently died, and the older sister is trying to keep CPS from taking Lilo into the foster system while Lilo is acting out because of trauma.

and an illegal alien that also acts out because of how it was treated, but changes and learn to care when put in a love and forgiveness context.
