I will probably skip Gladiator II. I was taken to the first Gladiator film for my birthday and spent more time paying attention to the jewelry and oil lamps than I did to the fighting.

Or, gods help us, the "plot". Though I was pleased they did not have Maximus get involved with the noblewoman... it would not have worked with the characters' history.
