Historically: "Israel... signs a deal with the #Palestinians that is to be implemented in phases. The first phase gives @israel what it wants... (in this case) release of... hostages in #Gaza — but #Israel habitually fails to implement subsequent phases... It eventually provokes the @palestine -ians with indiscriminate armed assaults to retaliate, defines a Palestinian response as a provocation and abrogates the #ceasefire deal..."

Historically, yeah. There's a new guy in town and a new administration that isnt kissing bibi's ass. Trump doesn't even like the guy, and unlike the biden-harris team, Trump's got leverage and he's going to use it. And however you wanna poo-poo that, its already 10x better than what was happening.

@israel @palestine It's a warning not to get all toxically positive b/c Nazis lie.

Just posted:
"There is little doubt that President-elect Donald #Trump’s posture vis-a-vis #Israel is a key reason why a ceasefire in #Gaza has finally been achieved. According to a diplomat briefed on the matter, this was “the first time there has been real pressure on the Israeli side to accept a deal.”"

#Biden worked 'tirelessly around the clock' to prevent #ceasefire

Trita Parsi knocked ot out of the park with that article.
Whatever happens, Israel will never recover from this, and neither will the US. The ugly truth has been exposed. If trump thinks that Israel can just go back to "normal" he misunderstands the resolve of the Resistance - of Palestinians and everyone who supports them.
