Satirical news publication The Onion has bought Alex Jones' Infowars at a bankruptcy auction backed by families of Sandy Hook Elementary families who are owed more than $1 billion in defamation judgments by Jones. Infowars' website, social media accounts, studio in Austin, Texas, trademarks and video archive are now owned by The Onion, whose CEO Bryce P. Tetraeder said: “No price would be too high for such a cornucopia of malleable assets and minds. Satirical website The Onion has bought conspiracy pundit Alex Jones InfoWars out of it bankruptcy (forced on Jones by the money owed to Sandy Hook survivors & families after he lost a case on the lies he told about the shooting).

Now the Q. is how many of InfoWars watchers will spot that there's been a change in ownership.... and how might The Onion use its new channel.
