I find it equally fascinating and horrifying just how many people have no idea what’s coming. I’ve had casual conversations with people I know who are in complete denial about the enormity of it.

They truly believe this is just a regular old election cycle that just happened, and in four years (or two years at midterms) we’ll be able to vote our way out of this.

I have hope. There’s always hope. I’m just not blind or ignorant.
