Cette affiche, réalisée par l’artiste Amer Shomali, détourne avec ironie un modèle plus ancien, créé en 1936 par Franz Krausz pour promouvoir le tourisme et l’immigration en Palestine mandataire. Devant la ville de #Jérusalem vue depuis le mont des Oliviers, elle ajoute en effet la représentation du mur de séparation actuel entre la Palestine et Israël.
This work is an ironic twist by the artist Amer Shomali on an older poster that was created in 1936 by Franz Krausz to promote tourism and immigration to Mandatory Palestine. In front of the city of Jerusalem as seen from the Mount of Olives, it adds a representation of the current separation barrier between Palestine and Israel.
