Perfect time for the Greens to make some good alliances.
Assuming that imbeciles finally learn to stop voting against their own interests because "they're all the same anyway" or "might as well give them (Reform) a go, they can't be any worse" 🙄
Yeah, that is true but at least this union understands Reform won't make things any better, they've only got the Greens and the Greens need to start making good trouble already if they want to change minds away from Reform and the dystopia they represent.
True. There's some good polling coming out about Plaid here in Wales since Labour decided nationalisation is fine for Scunthorpe but not for Port Talbot. Hopefully it'll remain high or, better still, increase their vote share. ATM they're only 3 points shy of taking control of the Senedd next year 🥳
Doubt the English will notice they're being screwed, the Welsh and Scottish meanwhile are trying to get out of this disunion.
There's plenty of England that would get the fuck out of dodge given the chance. Kernow, for a start.
Yeah, just I reckon independence wouldn't guarantee anyone more freedom anymore than Brexit supposedly did.
Depends what kind of freedom you're talking about, doesn't it. Economic freedom isn't to be sniffed at. Freedom to control your own borders, or set your own foreign policy, or decide who you prioritise trading relations with. Freedom to decide how you prepare for climate breakdown. I'd rather die trying than second guess based on hypothetical reasons why it wouldn't work. That's what England always says because they need our money and our resources.
Also there's absolutely no comparison between the two.
