FFS.

"MPs told the Guardian they want the prime minister to act more like Trump, who has upended political convention by televising large parts of his cabinet, holding long bilateral meetings on camera and calling in to live television shows."

FFS is right! 🤦‍♀️
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery 🤮 🙄
Names! NAMES! Voters should know which MPs these are.
Yet there are yanks who wonder why some of us Brits are obsessed with what's happening in America?!

Because it so often comes here next, that's why. Bad political ideas get batted back-and-forth across the Atlantic. Why do you think Reagan and Thatcher worked almost in tandem? Or Nixon's purely political "War on Drugs" became our own, etc. It's been this way for more than 70 years. Some of us don't forget the lessons of history, and some of us warned about Starmer too.
Euch, don't. I had someone yesterday trying to tell me that Tony Blair must be horrified at what Starmer's doing, as if he's not right behind the curtain with his hand out.
The whole situation is exhausting. This kinda sums it up.
Picture of a motorway junction. The sign says straight ahead for "Fairer society" or turn off for "the hunger games styled dystopia". The car in the image is swerving hastily so it can turn off. Beneath is written "Average voter".
Erm hello, Mandelson? This *is* simply Blairism 2.0. 😆

Ah yes, the "moderate" Blair who helped kill up to a million innocent people in an illegal war to open up a foreign country's oil reserves to Western markets. The guy Thatcher called her "greatest achievement".
There are always a few stragglers who want to believe the main parties aren't all varying degress of the same thing 😆
