No, not surprised, but made worse by the fact that not only won't the gammons who've drunk the Kool Aid care, they'll probably think it's funny, and the massive hypocrisy will not matter at all.

It's not even that they have forgotten the lessons of Nazi Germany and WWII, it is that they really, truly would have been herding Roma, Jews and the disabled into the gas chambers themselves. Utterly disgusting racist xenophobes and "white supremacists". I go to my bed feeling sick...! 😢

No, I don't think they would have been out there getting their hands dirty. They'd have been riding around the streets with megaphones, giving speeches and spreading propaganda. Turning the wheels of the state against anyone who tried to stand up to them.
