I have liquidised soup before now with one of those teabag-like bouquets garni in it. None the worse for it (or so I tell myself)! The one I really hate finding is the cardamom pod in my curries (closely followed by cloves)!

no better: you can't crack your teeth on a bay leaf! (the fève in a galette we bought once or twice was made of ceramic )

I think they're supposed to be ceramic, but there are also ones with plastic too - which is *definitely* worse! What's wrong with using a bean? Kids these days 🙄 🤭
