Things I have concluded while rewatching Lilo and Stitch with the kiddo:

- Cobra Bubbles is underrated and needs his own show

- David is hands down the best Disney himbo

- This movie nails traumatized child behavior

- Lilo's tourist photos are high art

- This movie hits hard when you're an adoptive parent

- I want a Moana crossover now

Totally forgot about Lilo and Stitch. I remember I liked it as a kid, but of course I was too young to consciously (thank you auto complete to find the correct spalling for that monster of a word) grapple with it's message. Might be worth a rewatch. 🙂👽️
That's what everyone is saying, that they liked the movie as kids but they don't remember much of the plot. As an adult, I can see why... It revolves around Nani trying to keep Lilo from being taken by CPS.
i play dreamlight valley which has these characters i don't know. i grew up with the ashman/menken princess and hadn't seen stitch, or moana and maui, or many movies without princesses. these characters are all cute and colourfull, i should find the movies now. badness level high
Question then. How do you feel about them re-making it in live-action? 🤔
honestly I am generally against Disney live action remakes because they irritate me. With that said, judging from the cast list they are making some story changes, which could go well, or go horrible 🤷‍♀️
I couldn't agree more. I think remakes are only good when they bring something new to the table and I've seen very little of that in these Disney ones. I think 'Jungle Book' was fine, but I think it only worked because Disney simplified the story so much in the original animated version and the 'live-action' one brought that original story out more. Lilo & Stitch was great as it is. Doesn't need a remake, imho.
