#KAOS is cancelled by Netflix after one season.

Honestly, I didn't like it, although it had some good storylines. But also, I know it was popular, so it's once again a promising show being cut for... whatever reason.

I am sick and tired of streaming sites being full of unfinished stories.

As a storyteller, I don't think this trend is good for our collective mental health.

I really appreciate those few TV series that were planned for a certain length and actually ended up that long, instead of getting cancelled, or dragged further. I feel that the art bit of film-making is getting lost, in favour of making dopamine-rollercoasters.
It absolutely isn’t! For so many reasons!

Including social/cultural cohesion. I refuse Netflix because it would shatter me to become invested over & over in a story - a relationship with those characters - and have that investment kicked off a cliff.

Yet it also separates me from others because I have no idea what they are talking about - and never will, even if late. 😞

It unnecessarily fractures us all. 😔
Boycott USA Streaming companies.because a mix of cultural imperialism, stupidity and parasites (little local employment and all "profit" exported, much off shored and much tax avoidance. Also some bully ISPs into hosting servers, so non-streaming customers of ISP are subsidising them!).
kinda got to the point that I wait for something to finish before investing time in it, got burnt by Firefly back in the day!
