Welcomed home to my council tax bill - 5% increase; rent schedule, 6% increase; water bill, 26% increase; and my notice of increase to PIP - £1.30 per week.

Horrific. All because they won't put an extra 2% on those earning above £10m (Leishman's idea) and won't reorganize Band H to make it fair.
You would be welcome in Scotland. We're still shielded from the worst of the relentless cruelty south of the border (but that's obviously under sustained attack - this time from the "progressive socialists" in London).

This is really very mild compared to the increases over the border, and considering they're increases on quite small amounts in the first place, relatively speaking. I was mostly making a point about how little help PIP is already in the face of mounting living costs, and how it's not even pretending to keep pace. I'll be fine. Unless it gets cancelled. Then I'll be fucked.
Not the best way to start Monday off.

Is that the general Dwr Cymru water rise? Sod that if so.
Yeah, I think so.
I saw something about the CEO in the "not for profit" getting nearly £900k a year 😡
Well, fuck that.
