Al-Qassam Claims Responsibility for Funduq Shooting Op Near Qalqilya

The al-Qassam Brigades claimed responsibility for the al-Funduq shooting operation near Qalqilya, which resulted in the killing of three Zionist settlers and the wounding of several others on Monday.

The military wing of the Hamas movement said late Wednesday that the operation was carried out in coordination with the al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement, and the al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades.

Al-Qassam stressed that joint operations would serve as the most powerful message of unity and cohesion among the various Resistance factions against anyone attempting to undermine the Resistance.

The brigades announced that one of its commanders, martyr Jaafar Ahmad Dababsah, was the mastermind behind the operation, through which the Resistance delivered a message of field unity.

Following the operation on Monday, Hamas said in a statement that the shooting attack “confirms that the Resistance in the West Bank will continue despite the occupation’s terrorism and security measures.”

The Palestinian group called the attack a “heroic response to the ongoing crimes and war of extermination committed by the Zionist occupation against our people.”

Al-Qassam Announces ‘Complex Security Operation’ in Jabalia

The al-Qassam Brigades announced the first-ever martyrdom operation targeting Zionist occupation forces during the current and ongoing war on the Gaza Strip, on Friday.

Hamas’ military wing said one of its fighters conducted a “complex security operation,” where the fighter secured a pathway to execute a one-of-a-kind attack on invading troops in the Jabalia refugee camp.

Such attacks have been excluded from the Resistance’s tactics, whereby the majority of confrontations revolved around hit-and-run attacks and improvised explosive device (IED) ambushes. However, seeing that this is the third military campaign launched by occupation forces on Jabalia since the invasion ensued, al-Qassam’s leadership has re-introduced martyrdom operations.

In detail, a fighter eliminated a Zionist sniper team in the camp, consisting of a sniper and a spotter, seizing their equipment and camouflage.

An hour after executing the initial attack, the fighter disguised himself in Zionist military attire before approaching a force, consisting of six troops. He later detonated an explosive belt he was wearing, resulting in casualties among the invading troops.

This operation follows a stabbing operation conducted by the Brigades in the Jabalia refugee camp, where a fighter stabbed and killed an officer and three soldiers, on Thursday.

On Friday, the Brigades also released footage of a one-way attack drone attack on the Magen military site, located to the east of Khan Younis. The attack was conducted via an al-Zawari drone.

Meanwhile, the al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), announced that it fired Badr-1 and 107 mm rocket artillery shells at the Zionist command and control post in the Netzarim Axis.

It also said its fighters downed a surveillance drone over Gaza City.

On its part, the al-Mujahideen Brigades announced that its mortar units shelled occupation forces located in eastern the al-Bureij refugee, in the central Gaza Strip.

The al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade also fired 107 mm rockets at occupation forces in the Netzarim Axis.

Hezbollah Strikes Tel Aviv, Resistance in Gaza and Lebanon Pounds Occupiers

Hezbollah carried out qualitative strikes on Monday against Israeli occupation forces, strategic sites, and settlements in support of the Palestinian resistance in Gaza and in defense of Lebanese territory and its people. The group’s Military Media reported a series of rocket and drone attacks targeting critical locations in the occupied territories and Zionist forces.

On Saturday, the Palestinian Resistance confronted the occupation forces in the Gaza Strip, focusing on the besieged northern areas, particularly Beit Lahia and Jabalia Camp. It has also intensified its attacks on positions in the Netzarim axis, southwest of Gaza City.

The al-Qassam Brigades eliminated three Zionist soldiers from close range near Abbas Kilani Roundabout in northern Beit Lahia and sniped at a fourth soldier.
