I see this group of deer quite often during my runs, but rarely when I have my camera with me. They tolerate humans from a distance; however, if I stopped for too long, they’d just run away.

Streetartwall. A beautiful and imaginative mural featuring a light brown deer, a blue and purple turkey bird and a brown hare was spray painted on the outside wall of a two-storey house. The little fawn stands in a lilac meadow between a leaping rabbit on the right and a colorful, flying turkey bird on the left. The background is blurred and shows a green meadow and a blue sky. The deer's head is marked with thin light circles. The artist is sitting on the canopy in front of her mural. The picture was drawn and designed based on photos of Colinda van Binnendijk. It deliberately looks a little kitschy, but has a serious intention. Info: The artist wanted to draw attention to three animals living in Germany that may be hunted: "This mural is a silent protest against hunting for pleasure. By depicting these animals being free and fluffy, I hope to make people in Gelsenkirchen happy, and whoever knows the meaning behind this painting will hopefully start to appreciate alive animals more than 'unalive' ones."
