A #white person using a racial slur to refer to someone with dark skin is tapping into deeply held cultural ideas about racial hierarchy created by centuries of colonial exploitation. A dark skinned person calling someone ‘white’ is saying ‘you have NO IDEA what it is like to live in this body’.

In what way are these things equivalent?
