Das Bild zeigt einen langen, verlassenen Korridor in einem heruntergekommenen Gebäude. Das Schwarz-Weiß-Foto zeigt einen langen, perspektivisch verlaufenden Korridor in einem verfallenen Gebäude. Die Wände sind mit abblätterndem Putz bedeckt, der die darunterliegende Struktur freilegt. Die Türen entlang des Korridors sind größtenteils beschädigt oder fehlen ganz, wodurch ein Blick in verlassene Räume ermöglicht wird. Der Boden ist mit Schutt und Trümmern übersät. An einer Wand steht ein alter, rostiger Heizkörper, auf dem ein Stück Stoff liegt, das wie ein verlassenes Kleidungsstück aussieht. Das Licht im Korridor ist schwach und kommt von einem unbekannten Ort am Ende des Ganges, wodurch lange Schatten auf den Boden geworfen werden. Die gesamte Atmosphäre ist düster, verlassen und vermittelt ein Gefühl von Verfall und Verlassenheit. Das Bild ist in Schwarz-Weiß gehalten, was die Stimmung von Melancholie und Vergänglichkeit verstärkt.
