Edit: I went back and speed watched the rest to check I wasn't being too judgemental. I wasn't. It's really bad, and it actually gets worse. Loads of god bless America the truth will save us crap. Most of the big actors seem like they're reading the phone book. There's a really uncomfortable bit where Matthew Modine equates far right nutters with left wing advocacy for trans rights as well.
I'd give it a HARD swerve if I were you.

It's just really ... flat. There's a bit too much land of the free garbage in the script as well. Even Jesse Plemons is rubbish. I turned it off in the middle of episode 2 because I couldn't take any more "we can't wait for the facts we need to bomb something because we're America" shite.
