For today's round of #MinCup24 the storytelling vote goes to copper 😄

It features into some of my favorite folktales and legends:

- The City of Brass (1001 Nights), where djinn are captured in copper vessels and adventurers explore a magical city

- The Copper Forest, a Hungarian folktale where one of the stereotypical three princesses is actually in love with the enemy king, and finds a way to marry him in the end

copper reminds me of the Red Cow ("a vörös tehén") we had for story one of the evenings and is quite weird. It features bulls of various metals as opponents.

If I had to make a layman guess, it is allegoric to an oppressed child becoming a criminal and turning a gang leader or something alike. Something to do with hallucinations too.

Any more professional interpretation welcome.
Those stories, at least in the Hungarian tradition, are usually shaman duels.
You've convinced me!

I made the same joke earlier under the MinCup toot :D
