I know I have said this before but it still bugs me:

Where are the resources for #neurodivergent parents who are raising neurotypical children?
(Or any children really)

Like, there is so much literature on parenting ND kids, but the other way around is one hell of a ride too.

there are almost none even if it is (whast often more likely) neurodivergent parents with neurodivergent children. Most of the time it's neurotypical parents with neurodivergent children (which is not as likely as many assume)

💯 The parenting resources & advice I've seen assumes parents are neurotypical and abled and… that's just plain not true for everybody

As a ND parent with ND kids I read stuff like "ND kids thrive with routine" and wonder who is supposed to maintain that routine cuz that's a struggle I have (answer in my house is NT spouse & co-parent)
