The last few days had been full of especially loud booms. It's been hard on my mental health to have the sudden shakes of windows and loud booms in the otherwise serenity of the Gaza envelope kibbutzim, mine is Kibbutz Gevim. I create to calm down and heal, I've been less capable of communication and promotion for my small business and fixated more on creation. Today I took my black doll with a few new sets to photograph at a stunning location with those pink desert flowers I love so much. Lots of non Judaica options are available too as well as unisex and men's options.

South African Rural Sculpture

South Africa has a rich rural carving #tradition. During the 1980’s this mode of #artistic expression acquired new dimensions with the emergence of rural #artists who were self taught and unexposed to other influences. As a result of the isolating of black South Africans into rural community areas, the artists residing in these areas created work that was authentic and unconditioned.

Here's a challenge for #paleo #artists
I want to see an extinct animal in a non dramatic scenario, preferably at night, just doing its thing. Is it yawning as it lays down? It it just wandering aimlessly? 99% of an animals life is boring mundane stuff, but we almost never see that in #paleoart.
I would love to see what you come up with.
