I logged 9.5 hours in bed, 8 of which were actually sleeping. The other 90 minutes was logged as "awake" - I definitely felt it too.
The other thing I'm thinking about: what does "tired" feel like? I've always associated it with a feeling in my eyes. But like other feelings, I have trouble differentiating subtle differences.
When I woke up at 6:30, I felt the tiredness in my eyes, but my brain was active and alert. I got up, drank some water, washed my face, then the tired feeling was gone and I felt more overall awake and alert.
So... am I misreading that feeling in my eyes? Is it just dry eyes maybe? 🤷♂️
Yaaay alexithymia.
I went for a brisk 20 minute walk this morning, with two 90 second jogging intervals. That felt good!
There's a whole tangled mess of stuff to unpack and think about here. Slowly working on it...
