#KAOS is cancelled by Netflix after one season.

Honestly, I didn't like it, although it had some good storylines. But also, I know it was popular, so it's once again a promising show being cut for... whatever reason.

I am sick and tired of streaming sites being full of unfinished stories.

As a storyteller, I don't think this trend is good for our collective mental health.

I have seen it before, but it doesn't cease to astonish me to see people complaining about the X-men "becoming woke."

Like.

Dude.

My dude.

My dear little angry strawberry muffin.

THE X-MEN?!

Have you, like... literally... read any of the basic premise?
Ever?...

Me: *watching Renegade Nell*

Husband in background: "Why do they sound so British?"

Me: "Because it's London in the 18th century?"

Husband: "... I thought you were watching The Boys?"

Me: "... you listened to 30 minutes of Renegane Nell and you thought it was The Boys?!"

Also me: "... now I desperately need to see Nell fight Homelander."

Reading any comic written by Si Spurrier:

"I don't get it... I don't get it... WTF is even going on... I'm not smart enough for this... WTF... OH HELL I GET IT! DAAAMN!"

😅
My favorite comic writer.

It is always kinda funny when people try to relate to me as a storyteller by bashing Disney, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings,
D&D, etc.

Like, bless your heart, just because I tell folktales and legends, I don't have to hate pop culture. Also, I'm a huge nerd. Wrong tree, darling.

"Even the highly cited examples of 150-people networks have been criticised as overwhelmingly skewed towards rich, educated, and industrialised societies, with non-western cultures rarely mentioned. Confirmation bias may well be a factor in the popularity and acceptance of Dunbar’s number."
