So my amateur analysis, Hezbollah, Iran and Russia are severely weakened and can not support Assad. Anti-assad forces with the support of Turkiye, grab their chance. Syria is a large country, the capture of Aleppo is only the beginning of this fight however. No headlines in mainstream media, they probably don't understand the significance.

787 people were rescued from snowdrifts on roads in the eastern province of MALAYA, Turkiye. Five shepherds were trapped in snow on a mountain in the Hakimhan district. They were rescued, but one of them later died in hospital. Road clearing and rescue efforts are ongoing. Snow depth in some provinces reached 1 meter.

Activists in Turkiye have stormed the port of Haydarpasa and staged a sit-in on the MV Kathrin ship used to carry weapons and explosives to Israel.
