The Israeli Knesset passed a law early Tuesday allowing the sacking of Arab teachers who show support for attacks against Israelis.
The bill was approved in the second and third reading by 55-45 votes.
It authorizes the Education Ministry to fire teachers without prior notice and cut funding for schools that show support for attacks against Israeli citizens and targets.
The bill specifically mentions Arab schools in occupied East Jerusalem.

The Israeli army has blown up an entire neighbourhood in the border town of Mays Al-Jabal in southern Lebanon.
Satellite images provided by Planet Labs revealed the massive destruction caused to more than 12 border towns and villages by the Israeli occupation’s military aggression in southern Lebanon.
Many of the destroyed towns have been inhabited for at least two centuries before being deserted due to the Israeli bombing campaign.

Three Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday, the Health Ministry and witnesses said.
Witnesses said an Israeli drone struck a car in the town of Muthalath al-Shuhada, south of Jenin in the northern West Bank.
