In Israel the consensus seems to be that the incoming US president is “better for Israel". I don't think he is any good for anyone and I wasn't sure whether Harris would have been "good for Israel” either.

I feel like this is the wrong perspective, though. What's "good for Israel" is better Israeli leadership. If we have good leadership, it matters less who the US president is because our leadership will make better choices.
