I have a #VPS and a domain name, which I registered to have a personal, non-billionaire-owned email address. But then I thought: "I hate FB enough that I only log into it once or twice a year, I've never had a Xitter account, and my Instagram has two photos on it, I only browse it once in a while for ideas on crafts/woodworking. "
This account is pretty much my only regular social platform.
What if I just pointed friends and family to a personal blog? Perhaps with a way to comment or interact with us?
I'm not sure of the security aspect, but I'm wondering if the idea is nuts or if I'm onto something?
