No Other Land remporte l'Oscar du meilleur documentaire. Pour légitime que soit cette récompense, il faut rappeler que l'essentiel aujourd'hui ne se joue pas sur la scène des Oscars mais en Palestine, dont le film documente le nettoyage ethnique.

C'est vers là que doivent se tourner nos regards, alors même qu'une opération israélienne inédite a déjà forcé 40 000 palestiniens à fuir le nord de la Cisjordanie et que Netanyahu cherche le moindre prétexte pour relancer le génocide à Gaza et l'escalade militaire.

Shame that this documentary about life under Israel’s occupation and friendship will not be seen by those that should see it. Ca. 60 countries will distribute, the USA is not one of them.

Ce dimanche, je lui souhaite un #Oscars2025 pour son docu "No Other Land". Basel est un résistant. Il a filmé la destruction progressive par l'armée israélienne des villages de sa terre natale, déclarée zone de tir par #Israël, dont le plan est clair: prendre un maximum de terres au Palestinies avec un minimum de Palestiniens dessus.
