Emergency responders have engaged in a remarkable 19,300 emergency responses, highlighting the severity and urgency of the ongoing crisis. With 105 active wildfires consuming nearly 40,300 acres of land, the impact on the region is profound. We are deeply saddened to report at least 13 preliminary fatalities, a number which awaits confirmation from the coroner’s office.
