Black - non recyclable waste

I don't know what's wrong witht he council's food waste bags but they are splitting and falling apart even straight off the roll!
Maybe they wete old stock and have already started self composting!

Roofers are here with a lorry load of reclaimed slates.
I have to get a GPs appointment for Mum, then meet Sue at work, then pick up a prescription for her this afternoon.

With up to 15 bins to sort today, it is going to be one of them days!

Die Saatkrähen kamen heute zu viert. Dem hatten die drei Elstern nichts entgegenzusetzen. Die denken nämlich, das Futter reicht nicht für alle, und lassen die Nebelkrähe und die (bisher nur alleine auftauchende) Saatkrähe nicht mit fressen. Hatten untereinander öfter Streit auch zuletzt.

Wenn die wüssten, dass wir schon einmal mehr als zehn Elstern durch den Winter gebracht haben ...

Bis ich mich zu einem der möglichen #ShitBirdPhotos entschieden hatte, waren die anderen bereits weggeflogen.
Eine einzelne Saatkrähe ist als dunkler Flecken im Geäst eines kahlen Winterbaumes verblieben. Die anderen drei sind bereits weggeflogen.

Today we loaded all the tools,
And went to Boothstown #RepairCafe.
It wasn't too busy,
But we still did a few good repairs.
I repaired a folding table,
And an electric drill.
Then modified a slider to fit a coat zip, before repairing a necklace.
Then we stayed for their AGM,
And the volunteers Christmas party.
Ate far too much food,
And still brought some home.
That made an easy dinner with Mum,
But Sue and I are so stuffed.
Watched a few videos,
While Star Wars was on TV.
Now very tired,
So off to bed.
