I wonder:
For how long will Mozilla Firefox stay Open Source? It seems the ToS apply only to the executable of an authorized source. Anyone compiling their own seems out of scope of these ToS?

Why is this needed now after so many years?

🚩Every once in a while, Mozilla may decide to update these Terms. We will post the updated Terms online. We will take your continued use of Firefox as acceptance of such changes. We will post an effective date at the top of this page to make it clear when we made our most recent update.

Why not use Firefox to notify changes? There's already a version check. User hostile / deceptive pattern. Very techbro 🤢

Apparently Firefox shares unique identifiers for quite a lot of reasons which mostly fail to convince me of their need. There might be legitimate reason, but once again raises more questions than answers. E.g look at the "relevant content and advertising on Firefox New Tab" part. 😩
