- My kitty cat makes me laugh and always lightens the mood.
- We've got two air purifiers that we can use during these fires.
- I haven't lost my home or my belongings.
- I played guitar for my partner and mother-in-law and found my parlor guitar sounds just beautiful in open G.

Yesterday we evacuated my future mother-in-law from her home. The smoke was so thick from the #eatonfire and #palisadesfire that I could still smell it through my N95 (granted, my facial hair may have prevented a perfect seal).

The fire remains an estimated 10,600 acres and growth has been significantly stopped, per this morning's press conference. It is 0% contained. Over 879 firefighting personnel are assigned and mutual aid resources continue to arrive to assist.

Looks like evacuation orders have been lifted for the #SunsetFire and the #SunsweptFire was contained. No new threats here this morning. Some of the smoke we were getting from #EatonFire seemed to have thinned out when I was outside at dawn.

Thankfully the wind has died down, as well. So, maybe the crews can start getting control of some of the larger fires.

No further damage here. So, I'll be back at work and later we'll try to sort out getting someone out to do real repairs on things.
