Der Vortrag bietet einen kurzen praktischen Einblick in die Nutzung von Castopod als Podcastplattform.

Gezeigt werden soll:

• ein genereller Abriss der Geschichte von Castopod,
• die Möglichkeiten für Podcaster*innen bei der Nutzung von Castopod,
• der aktuelle Entwicklungsstand der Software, auch mit den noch bestehenden Problemen,
• die Vorteile einer Fediverse-Plattform für Podcasts,
• die Administrations-Oberfläche am Beispiel des deutschsprachigen Servers podcasts.homes.

Am 22. & 23. März 2025 finden die Chemnitzer Linux-Tage in der Reichenhainer Straße 90, 09126 Chemnitz statt! 🎉

Die Chemnitzer Linux-Tage @Chemnitzer Linux-Tage (CLT) sind eine der größten und bekanntesten Open-Source- und Linux-Veranstaltungen im deutschsprachigen Raum. Sie finden jährlich in Chemnitz statt, normalerweise im Frühjahr, und richten sich an Einsteiger, Fortgeschrittene und Profis aus der Open-Source-Community.

Die CLT bieten Vorträge, Workshops, Stände von Projekten und Unternehmen sowie ein Rahmenprogramm mit Install-Party, LPI-Zertifizierungen und Aktivitäten für Kinder (CLT-Junior). Die Veranstaltung ist bekannt für ihre freundliche Atmosphäre und den intensiven Austausch zwischen Entwicklern, Anwendern und Interessierten.

Über das Fediverse wird auch gesprochen. Zum Beispiel:

Strange combination: a podcast (@festundflauschig) that is active in the Fediverse (embracing Open Source for their marketing & community building) but that publishes content since a few months in a 'walled garder' exclusively (i.e. Spotify only with open RSS feed killed).
