The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) has reported Trump has declared he will send "hundreds" of Federal agents (presumably ICE) into Chicago on Tues, Jan 21 for immigration roundups. Other media outlets concur.

As in the failed 2019 "family operation" he has again doxxed himself and his agents. Again we know where and when his thugs plan to attack. Again that lets us set up on ICE, forcing them to raid into a prepared defense like what we did in DC in 2019. They never showed up, knowing we had a trap ready and waiting for them.

They would have been initially confronted by protesters and good cameras getting doxxing-quality photos of ICE agents. They would also have likely found that named targets for which they had warrants were nowhere to be found.

Since this was to be a house to house raid, it is probably that residents would have poured into the streets to reinforce the protest. If ICE didn't back off at that point the protests could easily have escalated to a major urban riot. In DC this was in the same area as the 1991 Mt Pleasant uprising. ICE never dared to face our waiting defenses.

Chicago like DC is considered a sanctuary city. The Chicago Sun-Times reports that rapid response teams of volunteers are now ready to respond to any aggression by ICE in the city.

Also note that under Federal law, all residents can deny ICE entry to their buildings. Legally, an attempted house to house raid can be met with a block full of slammed doors as more and more protesters gather, more and more media shows up, and the tension rises.

The initial "ICE watchers" themselves won't be intervening. They don't have to. They are scouts like I was back in 2019, their power is in their communications devices and the ability to summon others to the scene if the threatened raids pan out.

I am back out at the migrant aid camp at the end of the border wall, 20 miles east of Sasabe, Arizona.
I got here a little bit ago but there is no one here. Kindled up the fire to heat a burrito I brought.

Border Patrol just drove out here to do their 8 PM pick up, but no asylum-seekers in camp. They'll come back at about 2 AM. They said it's been busier than normal lately, so I'll probably stay up a while and see if anyone shows up.

There has been a lot of talk of the Forest Service shutting down this camp and the border patrol closing the road to public access, so I want to take advantage of the next couple weeks and get as many photos and interviews with asylum-seekers as I can.

There is a solar powered satellite Internet set up here for everyone to use, which is why I can post from way out here.

How much? Each immigrant to the US pays out $250,000 more in taxes than they use in services, on-average, over their lifetimes.

4) Investment: For every 1% increase in the number of immigrants in a particular US state, that state is 50% more likely to receive foreign investment from the country those immigrants came from (what, did you think it was a coincidence that California has 72 Jollibee locations?). Also, immigrants are 80% more likely than non-immigrants to start their own businesses in their new countries.

5) Innovation: One out of every three patents in the US are filed by immigrants. Almost half of all Fortune 500 companies are headed by an immigrant or the child of immigrants.

I’ve been confused at why people keep saying that H-1B workers are low wage workers, because that hasn’t been my experience, but the reality is people are talking about the two extremes of the program and not knowing about the other side of it.

1. Outsourcing companies take maybe 4 out of 10 H-1B visas. These cos negotiate onshore outsourcing to companies. They send lower paid workers here and churn through them. Most people think only of this scenario.
