O que Luís Montenegro devia ter feito logo após se ter descoberto que a sua empresa familiar recebia uma avença de 4500 euros todos os meses de uma rede de Casinos era apresentar a sua demissão. Em vez disso, optou por chantagear os representantes dos eleitores portugueses.
O resultado mais provável disto tudo é que ele venha a entregar de mão beijada os destinos do país a um senhor (Pedro Nuno Santos) que aparenta ser pouco mais competente do que ele e em tudo se assemelha a um vendedor de carros usados - sem garantia - da Baixa da Banheira.
Em vez de ter deixado o seu partido e o Presidente da República escolherem um novo primeiro-ministro, Montenegro fez birra. E com isso levou o governo dele todo atrás para a ribanceira.
Outro resultado a médio-prazo de todo este histerismo por parte de Montenegro poderá ser a irrelevância crescente do PSD face a um partido (Chega) que - apesar de ter como deputados pedófilos, gatunos e alcóolicos - parece continuar a surfar a crista da onda. Tudo à conta da fama de um líder que publicamente diz mal dos imigrantes mas que conquistou toda a sua riqueza a ajudar imigrantes endinheirados a receberem vistos gold e a fugirem ao pagamento de impostos.
