With the advent of the Internet, the music market has been forced to change rapidly. Recordings on media, audio cassettes and disks, are no longer sold in the same volumes, and music labels have had to adapt to the new digital listening format and cooperate with streaming services to continue making money.

As recent studies show, the music industry has successfully adapted to modern realities and continues to grow.

I have cancelled all but one of my streaming video subscriptions in an effort to save money. I wanted to watch a certain movie but didn’t have a physical or digital copy, and didn’t want to purchase it. Suddenly, I remembered that libraries exist. Today I walked to the library and checked out a few movies on Blu-ray and DVD. For free. I feel strangely powerful. Support - and use - your local library.

#KAOS is cancelled by Netflix after one season.

Honestly, I didn't like it, although it had some good storylines. But also, I know it was popular, so it's once again a promising show being cut for... whatever reason.

I am sick and tired of streaming sites being full of unfinished stories.

As a storyteller, I don't think this trend is good for our collective mental health.

#Rant

I am so, so done with streaming and the whole TV show business lately. They cancel things left and right with no rhyme, reason, or closure. You get into a story and a set of characters, and then nope, sorry, no more of this. No one gets to give us a whole complete story, or even a longer arc.

As a storyteller, I am WILDLY annoyed by this.
