Wenn #fckmrz und seine #cducsu jetzt eine #kleineanfrage gegen NGOs starten weil es ihnen nicht passt das Menschen sich gegen #Faschismus wehren, wie steht es dann eigentlich mit der politischen Neutralität bei öffentlichen Körperschaften? Soweit ich mich erinnere hatte z.B. der BBV in Bayern die Bauernproteste maßgeblich mitorganisiert.

Ich habe meine erste Strickjacke gestrickt und möchte mir gleich noch einen Pullover stricken. Das Garn ist Lana Grossa Silkhair.
Jetzt ist das Garn in der Farbe überall ausverkauft oder teurer.
Jetzt die Frage: SilkHair ist doch keine neue Marke von Lana Grossa. Kommt dann immer wieder neues Garn nach? Sollte ich auf meine Farbe warten oder eine andere Marke kaufen?

Es juckt schon eine ganze Weile in den Fingern wieder was eigenes im #Fediverse zu haben.
Nur was?

Auf der Suche nach potenziellen Kontakten möchte ich deren Profil und öffentliche Posts ansehen. Ich betrachte das als legitimes Interesse, ich möchte doch sehen, was dort so ins #Fediverse entlassen wird. Mich dabei zu einem Log-in aufzufordern, ist komplett absurd, da ich auf der Instanz in der Regel keinen Account habe und auch nicht haben möchte. Keinesfalls möchte ich mich testweise mit einem Kontakt verbinden, um danach festzustellen, dass da ausschliesslich Katzenbilder daherkommen. Auch meine Video-Allergie muss ich nicht unbedingt zusätzlich strapazieren.

Noch eine Stufe absurder wird es, wenn ein Profil eines gegenseitig verbundenen Kontakts aufrufen möchte, mir das ebenfalls verweigert wird. Gibt es in Friendica nicht so etwas wie OpenWebAuth?

Selbstverständlich hat jeder Friendica-Benutzer die Freiheit und auch das Recht, sein Profil für Krethi und Plethi entsprechend einzuschränken. Aber muss das wirklich sein? Im alltäglichen Betrieb empfinde ich das als extrem störend.

Ich nutze zwar die Plattform, fühle mich aber überfordert alle Fragen zu beantworten.

▶️ @waag (focus on technology and society) and
▶️ @publicspaces (advocating for a better internet)

The process was incredibly smooth… no restarts or any bumps. In just seconds, we federated 3 platforms across the #Fediverse using #ActivityPub in live action and combining hundreds of videos from trusted partners!

Man muss es ja beim Posten im Fediverse nicht übertreiben mit Formatierungen und Schnickschnack. Aber ein paar grundlegende Beitragsformatierungen gehören für mich - vor allem bei längeren Beiträgen (damit meine ich nicht 501 Zeichen, sondern mindestens 1.500+) - einfach dazu, weil sie auch die Lesbarkeit verbessern.

Und ich klatsche gerne auch kleine Banner unter manche Postings (je nach Kontext)... z.B. das Join Hubzilla Banner (mit Link zur deutschsprachigen Hubzilla-Einstiegs-Seite) oder unter die Hubzilla-Häppchen das Hubzilla-Häppchen Banner, welches per Link zu allen Häppchen-Beiträgen führt.

Friendica, Hubzilla und (streams) zeigen das auch ganz korrekt an. Die meisten anderen Dienst nicht ganz so schön. Da ist die Grafik (meist groß) vorhanden, darüber steht dann aber immerhin der Link zum jeweiligen Ziel. Nur Mastodon versaut es komplett. Da ist auch nur die zu große Grafik zu sehen... aber der Link wird unterschlagen.

Aber soll ich wegen dieser Unzulänglichkeiten z.B. auf die Banner verzichten? NÖ! Und auf Bilder? Auch NÖ!

Wer es anständig dargestellt haben möchte, muss dann halt Hubzilla, Friendica, Streams (und in Zukunft womöglich Forte) nutzen. Deshalb untendrunter auch wieder das Join-Hubzilla Banner... und für alle Mastodon-Nutzer: Der Link dahinter ist 😉
