That's the daily average of humanitarian trucks the Israeli Authorities allowed into Gaza last month (october 2024)
This is the lowest in a long time, bringing the assistance back to the beginning of the war.
This cannot meet the needs of over 2 million people, many of whom are starving, sick and in desperate conditions.
It represents only 6% of the supplies (commercial + humanitarian) allowed into Gaza before the war.
Meanwhile, UNRWA continues to distribute whatever is allowed in.
- Since the war began, we provided more than 1.9 people with food aid
- we reached hundreds of thousands of people in and around our shelters with basic supplies
-as the largest primary health care provider, our teams provided over 6 million medical consultations.
- Much more must be allowed in including through UNRWA, the largest humanitarian organisation and service provider in Gaza
