Seems like this quote not from Nelson Mandela but a UN representative.

Social media users have been sharing a quote about divisions in the world and misattributing it to former South African President Nelson Mandela.
This is the quote: “Our world is not divided by race, color, gender or religion. Our world is divided into wise people and fools. And fools divide themselves by race, color, gender, or religion.” An example of the misattribution can be seen here here .
An online search shows that the quote came from human rights activist and United Nations representative Mohamad Safa. Safa posted it on Twitter and Facebook on Aug. 6, 2020 ( here , here ).
Safa said the words were his, not Mandela’s, on his Facebook page on Sept. 6, here . Safa’s media office told Reuters it wanted “to emphasize that these words were said by Mr. Safa years ago.”

Maoz Inon, whose parents were killed in the Hamas-led attacks on October 7, 2023, said the war must end immediately.

“We are locked in a trap, we have been led by extremists on both sides, and it’s time to end the conflict,” he said. “We deserve it, our children deserve it, and all the Israelis and Palestinians living between the river and the sea deserve it. We have paid enough with our blood and our lives, it’s time to end this trauma and pain.”

Ich hätte es ja viel besser gefunden wenn Mastodon nicht länger seinen Nutzern verheimlichen würde, das es auch noch etwas anderes als deren Billigspielzeug im #Fediverse gibt - zum Beispiel, wie bei so gut wie jeder anderen Fediverse Software, ein kleines Icon, das auf die Software eines posters hinweist.
Aber auch das würde die Hardcore Mastodonten wahrscheinlich zum Heulen und Jammern bringen - die meisten von denen hängen halt immer noch in ihrer Twitter/X Schiene fest und für die gibt es nichts, nichts anderes.
Ganz abgesehen davon, das die meisten von denen das Fediverse wirklich NULL verstanden haben 😀
Aber ich reg mich besser nicht weiter auf, sonst kriegt mein Admin wieder einen Haufen böser beschwerden 😏
