Ich habe einige Leute, die ausschließlich per Email folgen. Die sind nirgendwo auf Social Media, die kennen kein RSS, nichts. Ja, sowas gibt's.
Die folgen mir derzeit über meinen monatlichen #Newsletter. Allerdings - und das ist der springende Punkt - läuft der über #MailChimp. Das gehört zu dem US-Unternehmen Intuit. Ich will was anderes machen.
Da Email bei mir funktioniert (automatisierte Mails vom Backup und vom Health Checker als Beispiel), habe ich mir gedacht, ich mache da was lokal im Blog. Kennt ihr da gute Lösungen?
Es geht bei mir um keine 100 Empfänger, also brauche ich keine Business-Lösung für drölfzig Euronen im Monat. Einfach eine einfache Benachrichtigung per Email, möglichst mit etwas Text darum. Kennt ihr sowas, was dann eben auch funktioniert? Ich will nicht erst noch monatelang schrauben.

Der Neue auf Friendica
Ich treibe mich seit einigen Tagen hier auf Friendica rum, nachdem ich mich einige Zeit nach der Twitter-Übernahme von Elon Musk bereits mit Mastodon rumgeschlagen habe. So geht es sicherlich vielen im Fediverse.
Irgendwie ist mir rund um den 09.01. oder 10.01.2025 eingefallen, ich müsse doch mehr im Fediverse machen. Ich habe seit 2009 einen kleinen Blog, der zwar mit #ActivityPub ausgestattet ist, aber ich mich dennoch frage: Und jetzt?
Also versuche ich seitdem, mich irgendwie hier auf Friendica zurecht zu finden. Ich komme zwar grundsätzlich klar. Aber manches klappt dann halt doch nicht so, wie ich mir das vorstelle. Und nein, ich möchte nicht schon wieder darüber diskutieren.
Was ich hier will? Nun, mich austauschen. Meinem Verständnis nach spielt mein #Blog dabei die Rolle der Homebase. Ich würde mich gern über alles mögliche austauschen. Vielleicht macht ja jemand #Musik mit #Ableton oder weiß auch nicht so recht, wie lang der eigene Blog noch mit #WordPress laufen soll. Aber ich halte auch viel vom #Dummquatschen.
Ich hätte es gern, dass jeder Mensch seine Chance bekommt. So wurde ich sozialisiert. Ausgrenzung, Hass und Hetze wird es mit mir nicht geben. Ansonsten kann man mit mir schon gern mal Bier trinken oder so.
So, und jetzt schaue ich mal weiter, wie der Laden hier so läuft. Ach ja, und der Post wurde eindeutig inspiriert von @Franky :friendica:

Diese Hipster Link Kürzungen sind echt die Pest!
Solche bescheuerten "Designentscheidungen" sind ein absolut vermeidbares zusätzlich eingebautes Hindernis und Sicherheitsrisiko, das durch Unterlassen einfach eliminiert werden kann.
Eben gerade wieder 1500 Links kopieren müssen, von einer Seite die mal und mal nicht Linkkürzungen benutzt. Also sowas wie
hppts://schwunk-plonk.... statt komplett hppts://schwunk-plonk.komm/Blunk-schwonk.HaarTeeÄhmElEine Möglichkeit wäre gewesen alle einzeln, Rechtsklick kopieren und in neues Dokument einfügen. Na danke!
Die andere Möglichkeit wäre gewesen, alle anzuklicken und dann auch wieder per Copy'n' Paste in das neue Dokument zu überführen.
Und in beiden Fällen die entsprechenden Überschriften des Originalartikels entsprechend einzuordnen.
Meine Lösung war dann zwar schneller und wesentlich eleganter, aber das ist keinem DurchschnittsbenutzerIn zu zumuten:
1. HTML Quelltext auf
2. Entsprechenden Teil in ein neues Textdokument zu kopieren
3. Regex ein paar Mal anwenden und damit eine wunderbare Liste mit Aufzählungspunkten zu bekommen.
Bitte baut so einen Bockmist nicht in eure Plattformen, Blogs, Wikis oder andere Publikationsnetzwerke ein! Dann muss auch niemand unnötig Lebenszeit darauf verschwenden diesen Unsinn wieder rückgängig zu machen. Danke!
